One hundred emails

One hundred emails

One hundred emails

When I started this challenge, I wasn’t sure how it’d feel when I hit a hundred consecutive days of emails, written and sent to real people on the internet. Would it be invigorating and fun to do it every single day — or would I be relieved to finally put a stop to the madness?

I’m pleased to say it’s the former.

It’s been such a fun experiment, sharing a small window into my life via writing. I’ve always been envious of people who have the grit (seemingly) to share something meaningful on a regular basis… sure, the outcomes vary (I think I have literally the exact same number of subscribers as 100 days ago, haha!) — but the real win is of the personal variety: Sharpening my thoughts, priming my emotions to dig into things that matter to me, and extending my determination to create more than I consume.

If you’ve been here from [001], I’m so grateful for your support and kind words along the way — and if you’ve recently subscribed, I’m glad you’re here, too.

So is this the end? Nope.

I feel like I’m just getting started, and finally finding a rhythm of how and what I want to share! Not to mention, I’m the kind of person who hates breaking streaks… the idea of starting back at 001 if I stopped now feels preposterous. Anyways, I’d love to hear if anything specific resonated with you, or if there’s an obvious theme that you think I’m especially equipped to write more about — it’s so much tougher to find patterns in your own behavior than it is from the outside looking in.

Talk to you tomorrow for [101].
