Interests & Things
Minimalism
Less, but better. The practice of curating items, tools, and ideas that promote a joyful lifestyle — celebrating clarity and peace over the accumulation of more.
Digital Products
I believe the internet is a force multiplier for creative entrepreneurship — enabling a new reality for those willing to build something for themselves, and share it online.
Coffee
Ex-barista who’s happily addicted to one of the tastiest beverages on earth. Ethiopian coffees from Onyx Coffee Lab are my go-to, brewed at-home via Chemex.
Templates
Pre-built designs that make it easy to get an amazing website. I currently build templates for Squarespace at Studio Mesa, and have a growing collection for Framer.
Music
Never a silent moment while I work. I find musical themes like rhythm, harmony, and pitch translate beautifully in design. Fave artists include Tycho, LÜNE, and Jumo.
Automation
Using tools like Zapier or Make to let robots do the work for you. Removing manual, repetitive actions to allow for maximum creativity in business.
What I’m up to now…
Updated this site's design
The endless personal site cycle of liking and disliking the way your work is displayed on the internet. But this time, I chose to revert to a previous version from like 9 months ago because the style felt so much better than any other attempts. I rarely see any sites with this kind of thirds-based design, and it just feels so right to organize things like this… until the next change.
Taking on new clients
I'd taken a bit of a break from client work from the start of the year to focus on my own projects and get some real AI-building experience under my feet. But, serendipitous requests and the overall desire to collaborate pulls me back to the client work life. Let's build something together in Framer!
Building Canopy
Canopy is my new side/main project that originated from my own painful need for more consistent SEO efforts in my business, Studio Mesa. Canopy is the SEO tool I always wanted: it builds a strategy based on real keywords and SERP data, then writes (and publishes!) posts that are so fine-tuned, it feels like a subject-matter expert wrote them. I'm stoked with how it's going.
