List is life
I’m a “list guy”, through and through.
Can’t figure something out? Make a list.
Need clarity on what’s weighing me down? Make a list.
Feeling stuck in a season of life and want change? Make a list.
Bringing order to chaos makes me feel alive — like I actually have a say in how my life unfolds. I know many people shiver at the thought of personal organization or categorizing, but… without a practice of “taking inventory” of things, the chaos of daily life begins to feel heavier than I’d prefer. Putting things on paper (digital or otherwise) frees the mind of it’s burdens, and relieves you from the mental warfare of indecision.
While I believe you can make a list from anything, here are some of the big ones that routinely make their way into my “inventory”:
Feelings
Stresses
Goals
Belongings
Relationships
Strengths
Methods
