Freedom of thought

Lots of people hold far too tightly onto ideas.

Many well-meaning people allow external concepts to infiltrate their internal identity, creating a false relationship between what they think, and who they are. When faced with the possibility of being wrong (or at least not entirely correct), they lash out as if the idea is them.

You are not your ideas. Multiple true things can coexist, even if you only feel strongly about one of them. Be open to change in the presence of compelling reason, and free yourself from the lie that it’s weak to change your mind.

Life's too short to be stuck in your own way of thinking.
