Numbering vibes

Even-numbered things feel confident. Odd-numbered things feel interesting. I don’t know the science behind it, but… this is how I look at numbering things. Ignore these "numbering vibes" at your own peril.

  • Having two options feels absolute and serious. But add one more, and the situation feels comparative and flexible.

  • Two examples of something feels calculated and finite. But three suggest you have more to share, but chose to hold back.

  • $100 is clean and straightforward. But $95 invites intrigue… where’s the last five bucks?
